After his training as a butcher Thomas wanted to go back to school and completed the degree as certified technician in the field of foodstuff, with focus on meat technology. After that he had the chance to prove his newly acquired techniques and skills in the quality management of a food production.
His journey at Vemag began in May 2010 as technical advisor for South Germany. Later he changed the area and was responsible for East Germany where he had the chance to consolidate his knowledge and the handling with the machines.
Afterwards he specialized in the field of sausage lines and since then he is a technical advisor international for sausage lines. Since 2019 he is part of the Vemag Academy Team as a trainer for sausage lines and passes on his experiences to the attendees. In his free time he likes to go hunting and fishing and gains in this way more experiences in the area of food (production) which he shares gladly in the workshops.
