Sebastian Schmidt

In 2006, Sebastian started his apprenticeship at Lufthansa Technik in Hamburg as aircraft mechanic in engine technology. After two years of working for Hamburg Airport, he was send to Bremen, to work on the prototype of the Airbus A350. He spent a lot of time working for Airbus in the UK and France / Toulouse and had therefore the chance to gain valuable experience abroad.

In 2016, he wanted to come back to Verden, his hometown. Therefore, it was obvious for him to apply at VEMAG. Fortunately, he could start working as a service technician in the area of north Germany.

Four years later, in 2020, he had the chance to join the Academy Team and to become a technical trainer. He enjoys teaching and due to his versatile technical experiences in various areas, he can always give some good advice and answer all the participant’s questions.

He likes to spend his free time with his family and his daughter and has fun dealing with technical tasks. These tasks include working for the volunteer fire brigade and preparing and using vintage tractors and machines.
